Is Slither Pro free to use?

The optional Pro subscription ($2.99/month) unlocks the AI bot, auto-boost, and auto-play for players who want full automation, and starts with a free trial so you can try it risk-free.
Which browsers are supported?
Slither Pro runs on Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. It uses the Manifest V3 standard, so any Chromium-based browser (Brave, Opera, Vivaldi, Arc) works too. Firefox requires version 142 or later.
Does Slither Pro collect any personal data?
No. We do not collect browsing history, keystrokes, clicks, IP addresses, or any personally identifiable information. Your preferences are stored locally on your device via the browser's built-in storage API.
The only data that leaves your device is the email address you provide when subscribing to Pro, which is handled securely by Stripe for payment verification.
Will using Slither Pro get my account banned?
Slither.io does not use persistent accounts, so there is no account to ban. Slither Pro runs entirely client-side in your browser — the game servers receive the same input they always do.
That said, always use game mods responsibly and respect other players.
How smart is the AI bot?
The bot uses a multi-goal scored decision engine. Each frame, it evaluates food value, nearby threats, kill opportunities, and escape routes — then picks the action with the highest combined score.
It includes 16-sector predictive collision avoidance, adaptive strategy that shifts as your snake grows, and a dedicated coil-survival system that detects trap patterns and calculates escape gaps.
How do I cancel my Pro subscription?
Cancel anytime through the Stripe billing portal, accessible directly from the extension popup. Your Pro access stays active until the end of your current billing period. No prorated refunds for partial months.
Does the AI bot work offline?
Short answer: no. Slither.io itself needs an internet connection, and so does Pro subscription verification.
Your Pro status is re-verified with our server every time you open the extension popup and every time you load slither.io. If the extension can’t confirm an active subscription for more than 24 hours, the bot automatically stops until you’re back online and verified. This keeps cancellations and refunds honest, and stops shared or leaked credentials from running indefinitely.
All other features — chat, skins, zoom, HUD, minimap, death recap — remain available regardless.
How are releases signed and verified?
Every release ZIP's SHA-256 fingerprint is published in a machine-readable manifest at downloads/checksums.json. Each download card links directly to it so you can verify the fingerprint of any copy you receive.
The extension also ships a per-file integrity manifest baked in at build time — the bot runtime hashes its own code on load and refuses to start if anything was tampered with.
Does Slither Pro work on mobile devices?
Slither Pro is a desktop browser extension. Mobile browsers do not fully support Manifest V3 extensions yet. Install Slither Pro on the desktop version of Chrome, Firefox, or Edge for the best experience.
How do I install Slither Pro?

Overview
Slither Pro is a browser extension that enhances the Slither.io game with custom skins, smart zoom, a live HUD, minimap, death recaps, and an AI bot. It runs entirely within your browser on the Slither.io website.
In short: We do not track you. We do not sell your data. We do not collect browsing history or personal information beyond what is strictly needed for subscription management via Stripe.
Data We Collect
Email address — If you subscribe to Slither Pro, your email address is collected and processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We receive your email from Stripe solely to verify your active subscription status. It is not used for marketing, analytics, or any other purpose.
Payment information — Credit card numbers, billing addresses, and other financial details are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see, store, process, or have access to your full payment information.

Data Stored Locally
The extension uses chrome.storage to save your preferences on your own device. This includes:
- Skin selection and visual effect settings
- Zoom level and HUD layout preferences
- Bot and auto-boost configuration
- Game session history and death recap statistics
This data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage API. It never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any external server.

Data Sharing & Retention
We do not sell, trade, rent, or transfer your personal information to any third party. Your subscription email is shared only with Stripe as required to process your payment.
Local data is stored until you uninstall the extension or clear your browser data. Subscription data is retained by Stripe per their privacy policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using Slither Pro ("the Extension"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension. We may update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Description of Service
Slither Pro is a browser extension that modifies the user interface and gameplay experience of Slither.io. It provides visual customization, gameplay overlays, and optional AI-assisted bot features. The Extension operates client-side within your browser and does not modify Slither.io's servers.
Slither Pro is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Slither.io or its developers. Use of game modification tools may be subject to Slither.io's own terms of service.
3. User Accounts & Subscriptions
Free Tier: Core features (skins, zoom, HUD, minimap, death recap) are available without creating an account or paying.
Pro Subscription: Bot and advanced automation features require a paid subscription at $2.99/month, processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. You may cancel anytime through the Stripe billing portal accessible via the Extension popup.
Verification: Your subscription is verified using the email address you provide at checkout. You are responsible for providing an accurate email address. Sharing subscription credentials with others is not permitted.
4. Billing & Refunds
Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. All payments are in USD. You may cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.
If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@slitherpro.xyz within 30 days of the charge.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Extension's source code for redistribution
- Share, resell, or sublicense your Pro subscription to others
- Use the Extension to disrupt Slither.io's services or other players' experiences in ways that violate applicable laws
- Circumvent subscription verification or payment systems
- Misrepresent the Extension as your own product
6. Intellectual Property
All code, design, branding, and content of Slither Pro are owned by the Slither Pro team. The Extension is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. This license does not grant you ownership of any intellectual property.
"Slither.io" is a trademark of its respective owner. Slither Pro claims no rights to the Slither.io brand or game.
7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Extension is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Game updates by Slither.io may temporarily break Extension functionality.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slither Pro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Extension, including but not limited to: game account restrictions, lost game progress, or service interruptions.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Pro features if you violate these terms. You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it and canceling any active subscription.
